Strategy from the people who have to build it.
Most firms selling AI right now are strategy shops that subcontract the building, or dev shops with no strategy at all. We do both halves, which is why the strategist you talk to is also the engineer who ships it.
Michael Soares
Founder, AI strategist and engineer
Michael has spent his career building and running software businesses, which means he has sat on both sides of this conversation: the one buying a consulting engagement, and the one delivering it. Both led to the same conclusion. The gap between a promising demonstration and something a business actually depends on is where nearly all of the value, and nearly all of the failure, lives.
Adeptic AI exists to work in that gap. Strategy is the first thing we do and the thing that decides whether the rest is worth doing at all, but it is strategy written by someone who then has to make it work, not a document handed over at the door and not a project passed to a junior team once the contract is signed. The strategist and the engineer are the same person.
This is a new firm and it does not yet have a wall of client logos. Rather than borrow credibility that is not ours, we put the working systems on the website and let you use them. Every demonstration on this site is live software you can run right now, documented down to where it falls short.
How we work, stated plainly.
Production or it does not count
A demo that impresses a steering committee and never ships has cost you money and taught you nothing. Every engagement targets something staff use on a Tuesday.
Measured against a baseline
We capture how long the current process takes before touching it. Without that number, any claim about improvement is a story.
Humans keep the consequential decisions
Automation belongs on the routine path. Where an error is expensive or hard to reverse, the system routes to a person with the context attached.
You own everything
Code in your repositories, models behind your keys, documentation written for whoever comes next. No dependency on us continuing to exist.
The honest no
Plenty of problems are better solved with a database query, a form, or fixing a process. We would rather tell you that than sell you a model.
Where we are the wrong choice.
Being specific about this saves everyone a call. If you recognise your situation below, there is a better option than us and we would rather say so now.
Companies looking for someone to add a chatbot to a marketing site
Projects where no one internally can describe what success would look like
Work that requires training a foundation model from scratch
Engagements where the goal is a slide deck rather than working software
Teams shopping purely on hourly rate
